Blue Mountains band Cloud Control have been kicking around for a few years now. With supports for Supergrass, Something For Kate and now Holly Throsby, they've slowly eked out of the mountains and into the city.

New single 'Death Cloud' seems to simmer down the psych-rock tendencies they've displayed in the past. Swapped for pop it's still a neat fit, the twin vocals of front people Alistair Wright and Heidi Lenffer meshing neatly. Recorded at Big Jesus Burger in Sydney, the cut is from the band's debut LP due out sometime in late 2009.

The band are going on tour in October to support the single thing. Dates after the vid.
