90s grunge-pop act Stone Temple Pilots have revived themselves - and their lead singer - to tread the boards once more.

When Guns n Roses spin-off Velvet Revolver announced that singer Scott Weiland had jumped/been pushed from the band, Weiland wasted no time in bagging out his former bandmates. And then announcing the reunion of Stone Temple Pilots and a 65-date world tour. Hmm, nothing fishy there.

Somehow Weiland is still on two legs despite being an on again/off again heroin addict. Though he looks a little "wobbly" in some of these shots from a show last week at Hard Rock Live, Casino Hollywood in Florida.

Casino Hollywood? Everything about this story screams "reputable" and "good idea".

Dallasdeckard ON 29 Aug 2008 11:42:03PM I think it's pretty lousy to say that Scott Weiland looks "wobbly" in these photos. I looked at all the photos and he looks very on top of his game! His eyes don't look half-mast as is usual with people using heroin, nor does he look sluggish. He looks very alive, animated and quite in control of himself. I think it's very low to be bagging on his about his fight with addiction. I know you're just a low-rent entertainment rag, but even you can show some decency when it comes to a person's addiction.

Marcus ON 30 Aug 2008 01:40:01PM i think when your band reforms not for any musical reason but as a blatant grab for cash then your claims for decency and respect are diminished somewhat. And I very much disagree that he looks on top of his game. He certainly looks better than he has in recent years but fact is the guy's ravaged from addiction.
