Sigur Ros have traded the tee shirts and bright lights for a ancient military uniforms and vevlety darkness. As they should.

Performing at Milan Jazzin' Festival in Italy they donned the new outfits and were backed by giant glowing orbs that seem to be following them on this tour. With any luck they'll make it to Australia in time for Splendour in a few weeks.

I think I may also be tiring of Jeremy Greenspan's kind of 'wet' vocal style.... Granted, there are some real moments here though.

Hmm, I hear what you're saying. But I kind of feel that they give the record a sort of (daggy) charm. Mind you, without its bookends ('Detroit' and 'Lullaby') it would be a much, much lesser album...
