As the festival Gods continue their sweep through Europe we check in with the Leeds Festival. And so Radiohead, Passion Pit, Placebo, Patrick Wolf, Bloc Party, Vampire Weekend, Florence and the Machine, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Bronx and Australia's own The Living End.

It's always interesting to hear how bands are faring on the big scale festivals through Europe, because chances are we'll be getting all the same ones here for our summer. To that end, The Guardian has a few little nuggets concerning the new pop stars (La Roux: "hordes were left outside tents unable to see"), the newish pop stars (Arctic Monkeys: "the Monkeys have travelled from the gutter to the stars a bit too quickly.") and the brand new kids: ("Colorado reprobates 3OH!3 slayed a packed dance tent with their hip-hop-rock-rave fusion. Teenage quartet the xx held another tent in raptures despite being completely immobile – their music is so dreamy and evocative the "show" takes place in listeners' heads.")

Bring on summer. And yes I've always wondered what that big lighting contraption that Radiohead play under these days looks like from a distance. As well as how their brand new track 'These Are My Twisted Words' sounds like live. Now you now.
