We watched. We cheered. We went back to work.

Though not before we took a sweet collection of high quality pics. Some notes on the broadcast:

- The intro and behind the scenes was great. Should've followed it up with a post show view of the same.
- What did Terry Gilliam do exactly I wonder? Beyond the intro.
- I mentioned it earlier, but did the feed from the cameras on stage cut out or something? The first half a dozen songs or so had sweeping dolly shots, skilfully edited close ups and multiple camera views. For the second half we mostly had a slowly zooming - or else static - camera, front on to the band from behind the desk. Booooring.
- Nice footage, shame about the sound.
- 'Rococo' sounded great. 'Empty Room' sounded like everyone forgot it half through and just stopped. Kudos for the band stopping 'Sprawl II' halfway through (and halfway through a live telecast to millions) because their drum machine was malfunctioning.

All in all, a fun way to spend a Friday. Here's a selection of what's been posted online already.
