The Yeah Yeah Yeah's new album may or may not have leaked (ok, it has) but that's not stopping them trying to build some anticipation about the thing.

It's one thing to have you album leak before its release date, but it's another all together to have it leak a good two month before it's due on shelves. I don't have a calculator with me but I'm guessing the frothing masses pining to buy such an album will be considerably reduced by the time it's actually available.

Bummer for the band. That's not stopping them releasing 'behind the scenes' tidbits on It's Blitz! The band are posting "intimate" clips online that apparently documented their "day to day recording activities, from the mundane to the not so mundane." If you believe that then you'll also believe that "There’s never been a more candid portrait of us “doing our thing” as the following series of teasers, for the visual journey into our sonic crusade, that we call SNAKESWEAT. Up first, tender moments with the inscrutable Nick Zinner."

Cue Zinner in a sandstorm with a whip. A suitcase. Burning dolls. I hear the album is A LOT better than this.
