Justin Vernon's found himself "enjoying" some mainstream noteriety recently.

After being nominated for a Grammy for his second album Bon Iver, Bon Iver, the soon-to-be-touring singer made headlines for criticising the awards ceremony for not allowing his band to perform as they pleased. Despite such gripes, Bon Iver won an award anyway, taking home the 'Best New Artist' trophy -- a result which in turn nudged the unlikely "star" into the crosshairs of the kind of people who think Nicki Minaj WZ ROBBD BY BONNY BEAR.

Things took a more surreal turn over the weekend, with Vernon being impersonated by Justin Timberlake on Saturday Night Live. In the skit, centered around new parents Beyonce and Jay-Z receiving celebrity guests at their home, Timberlake's Bon Iver is a) convincingly balding b) sings falsetto and b) a surprisingly good guitarist. Oh and he puts himself to sleep.
