In the forum on Oz dance music site
inthemix, a poster has intimated that
Underworld will be out for Summadayze 2009. While forum posters are usually as reliable as Jay-Z is
singing, said poster is from Future Entertainment. Aka the Summadayze promoters. Gospel then. OMG think they'll play 'Born Slippy'! LOL.
Andrew VanWyngarden from 'Kids', er kids,
MGMT mentioned in an
interview with NME on the weekend at the Glastonbury festival, that amongst their itinerary for the rest of the year lies Australia.
"This year we're playing Reading, Leeds, Oxygen, T in the Park, Roskilde, Summersonic in Japan. Then we're going on tour with Beck. We're going to Brazil, going to Mexico, Australia, Japan."
Sounds like the end of the year then, so think Falls etc. Meredith? The smaller venue might be a better fit for them because, though we
dig their record, their live show leaves a
lot to be desired. And lastly to our old school
photo gallery subjects.
Ultimate AC/DC Fan Site has a translation from a Spanish metal website that suggests the new
AC/DC album will be released in October.
"Spanish
website mariskalrock.com states that Sony-Spain has said to this
webpage that the new record will be released at the end of October, and
in the last week of August the single will be aired."They go further to address the rumour that the band have a show booked in Glasgow on January 9th and will follow it up with a WORLD TOUR.
Australian band. World tour. Australia's in the world. *taps nose*
