Splendour in the Grass tickets have sold out. On sale yesterday at 9am, all 17,500 event and camping tickets sold out by 3.30pm. But not without hitches. Turns out the Qjump system used by organisers that we mentioned yesterday, experienced a few problems along the way. Resulting in delays and bank error messages.

Says Neil Ackland from Qjump: "Around 70,000 people logged on simultaneously to purchase 17,500 tickets. There was an unexpected technical issue with the banks payment system and we are contacting any customers that were affected. At this point we are working closely with the bank to understand why this occurred. We’d also like to apologise for any inconvenience caused”

Event organisers Jessica Ducrou and Paul Pitticco added: "We are yet again awed by the interest in Splendour, thanks to everyone for your support! Qjump have done very well managing our complicated ticketing process with its anti scalping features and carbon offsetting option. At this point we are pleased to say there are 0 tickets on EBAY and a healthy uptake of green tickets. From our end, this is a great result, cheers for your patience and continued support"

A quick look at EBAY and whaddyouknow...they're right. There is a promo poster currently at $11.50 though. Bargain.
