Splendour in the Grass has announced a huge array of sideshows for their festival in late July. Yes, the festival has still not sold out, meaning no sideshows in Brisbane (as yet). Which seems unfortunate for those not wanting to fork out $400+ to see, say, James Blake in a tent: but perhaps in time.

Melbourne sideshow clashes? The Hives, Foster the People, Elbow and Modest Mouse are all on the same night, so too Pulp and Friendly Fires. Sydney? James Blake, Friendly Fires, The Hives and Mona all clash on the same evening. Elsewhere, Kele and Grouplove! clash in both Sydney and Melbourne; so too Noah and the Whale and The Vaccines.

Perth will enjoy a mini-Splendour in the form of the On The Bright Side festival. Happening on Saturday 23 July, On the Bright Side will feature a bevy of the best Splendour acts, including The Hives, Pulp, Modest Mouse, Tame Impala, The Kills, The Grates, Foster The People, James Blake, Warpaint and Tim and Jean "under the top" at Perth's Esplanade Park.
