Something For Kate have been in hiding for a little while now.
The Melbourne icons of all things indie-pop have played just a couple of shows since their last tour proper back in Oct 07. Reason being that while Clint Hyndman moonlights in
Souls On Board and Stephanie Ashworth pens a column for JMag, singer Paul Dempsey has been beavering away on a
solo record.
Now the band coalesces for the first time since the scene of a live recording in February at The Corner in Melbourne - and Dempsey's solo performance at
Record Store Day. The band play an intimate (by their standards) one off show at the Oxford Arts Factory in Sydney on July 18. No word on whether other dates will be added at this stage.
