Andrew Stockdale has surely taken to this Twitter lark.
The Wolfmother singer (and lone original member) has
been Tweeting his new band's progress in the studio every day. It's here that we learned that they've tracked 18 songs (for the new album slated to be titled
Cosmic Egg), that it's shaping up to be a double, and passages like this:
Money is an idea, songs are ideas, civilization is an idea. Some ideas work others don't. The key is to create! The rest is beyond control... Those who want control, always lose control. People confuse expression with control... Ok, ok..... self expression is confused with control! Money is an idea, hunger is real, and food is of the earth..
Meaning the band are paying for their record with ideas, eating dirt and Stockdale's self-expressing his control and calling it expression. Or something. Anyway, when your band leaves you, who better to take their place than Slash. From Guns n Roses. As this new pic clearly shows.
Very disappointed he's sitting down with an acoustic though. It's like getting Michael Jordan to be the ref.
