Good timing, Skrillex.
Just hours after winning three Grammys on the weekend, the dubstep dude has announced a single sideshow to his upcoming Future Music Festival appearance. Moore will play an all-ages show at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, alongside 19-year old US newcomer Porter Robinson.
The current poster boy for the mainstreams huge resurgence of interest in electronic music, Skrillex (aka Sonny Moore) took home three awards from the weekend's Grammys showing, winning Best Dance Recording ('Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites'), Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical (Benny Benassi's 'Cinema (Skrillex Remix)') and Best Dance/Electronica Album.
As mentioned in our
ticket giveaway to the Future Music Festival, Skrillex has just released a 20 minute doco showing off his ridiculous stage show. Worth watching, especially if you like
Transformers, bus drivers and jiggling fish-eye shots of crowded DJ booths. Sign me up!:
