Pivot have announced details of their new album.

Under the banner of the decidedly un-post-rock title O Soundtrack My Heart, the bands major-ish label debut will be released worldwide on the iconic Warp records (via Inertia in Australia). Infamously, Pivot are the first Australian signing to the label better known for launching luminaries like Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Battles, Autechre, and Grizzly Bear. O Soundtrack My Heart was recorded and produced by the band in Sydney and their newly adopted home of London, but mixed by Chicago native John McEntire of Tortoise/Sea and Cake fame.

The band are currently supporting that gory 'In the Blood' single on a touring jaunt that sees them return home to support Sigur Ros in August. Before returning to the UK to take on another slew of festivals. In fact they just played the Glastonbury festival on the weekend. No confirmation on rumours that one of the Pike brothers traded blows with a slurring drug addict in the front row later in the day. Dozy bint.

Winehouse, not the boys. Have some manners.
