Oasis have been touring the world lately, specifically South America where they've been playing to football stadiums of 40,000+ screaming fans. Puts your job in stark relief hey.

But rumours are floating that the band are in a bad place internally right now. A note posted on Popbitch suggests that the band aren't talking to each other and things are grim:

"No real surprise to learn that the Oasis tour has been misery, but this time it feels a little more serious. Things started off badly in South America with numerous delays thanks to swine   flu and got worse in South Africa. The turnover of crew members has been high, and people aren't speaking to each other. Noel is annoyed that all Liam seems to think about is the new clothing line he's starting up, while Liam sees this as a way of finally getting some independence from his mono-browed, overbearing brother. Feeling is that this really could be it. This could be the tour that finally kills Oasis. Hoofuckinray."

A full stop would've sufficed buddy. Anyway, while the english gossip rags are about as reliable as gaining satisfaction and cooking lessons from Masterchef, there's a hint of these same rumours from none other than Noel Gallagher himself. The lippy band leader is writing a tour diary of sorts on the bands Myspace at the moment. This is his entry from a few weeks ago:

Noel's 'Tales From The Middle Of Nowhere' (03/05/09)

'Eye-oop. We speak at bad times for the Oasis tour. Bad times. We are a rudderless ship at the minute. And there's a fuckin' shit-storm on the horizon. I guess all will be revealed in due course. Strange atmosphere. I wouldn't mind but we're in South America! Playing massive stadiums and there's a bit too much hrmph-ing going on for my liking. Shame really.

Hmm. No word on the so called things getting "worse" in South Africa as there's been no entries since the 15th of May. We'll keep you posted.
