Japanese artist Sour sure has a well coordinated fanbase. They even perform tight choreography for him. Without even getting up. Then they webcam the footage in to create this Brady Bunch on acid video. Brilliant.

Well done, Japan. And well done, people of the world. Do keep it up...

Tiesto has roped in plenty of guest stars for upcoming album Kaleidoscope, out October, including Jónsi of Sigur Rós, Kele Okereke of Bloc Party, Nelly Furtado, Calvin Harris, Tegan & Sara, Emily Haines of Metric, Kianna of Tilly & The Wall, Sneaky Sound System... "and more".

Without ruining any surprises for you, the "more" they speak of could refer to the famous Honda robot "Asimo" who stars in this video for the Sneaky Sound System collaboration "I Will Be Here".

This is what Honda's Asimo looked like in 2006...

And the updated version in 2009...

Technology, eh? Amazing.

Merchants of gloom The xx aren't Japanese, they're from south London, but their new video by Anthony Dickerson is still very clever indeed. Riddle me this: If Anthony was Japanese, how much cleverer would this spinning shadowy creation actually have been? Hmm...

Denmark, for all its cheekbones, is not known for its cleverness, which may explain the new Asteroids Galaxy Tour video. Despite featuring Baron Muchausen rip-off heads-on-discs (yay!), a flying horse (take that, unicorn!), a fireman's pole made of neon (hurrah!), and assorted cosmic shenanigans, I only made it through half of this. That may have something to do with it sounding a bit (cover your eyes, children...) Lily Allen. But they're from beautiful Copenhagen, and they're not Lily Allen, so they get enough benefit of the doubt to get embedded here...

Ever wondered what a Chris Cunningham live-set looks like? Wonder no more. He just performed his three-screen rape of the senses at The Big Chill festival in England at the weekend and somebody (almost) captured it on their phone. You still won't know what a Chris Cunningham live-set sounds like, sadly, but you'll get an idea and that's better than a poke in the eye...

Muse aren't the only ones channeling the theremin-tastic Dr. Who theme music these days. Orbital closed the Big Chill with some of the Ron Grainer / Delia Derbyshire electronic classic. Again, thanks to the people of the world, for always having their phones on them...

Lastly, yet anything but leastly, if you love 3D as much as I do but prefer a soundtrack of future-funk to, say, screeching child-actors in animated kids flicks, then head here for a preview of the new débruit single and accompanying 3D video "I'm Goin' Wit' You", courtesy of London's tasty new label Civil Music.

It's only a looped preview but since I've been listening to it looping now for about ten minutes I'd say it demands a mention. Well done, all concerned!
