My Bloody Valentine releases album; suffers website crash

My Bloody Valentine releases album; suffers website crash

A few hours ago, at midnight GMT on the night of the 2nd February, My Bloody Valentine released their first album since Loveless in 1991. The album, entitled mbv, was released via a new website the band set up that crashed almost immediately after it was launched.

The website fail can be undoubtedly attributed to the fact that the new album is only available via the new site, where it will be sold in the forms of download only, CD and download, or in a 180g vinyl, CD and download package.

My Bloody Valentine is scheduled to hit our shores in scarcely over two weeks: it will mark their first Australian tour in 21 years.
