With all the craziness over the last few weeks regarding brethren
The Presets (who have just partnered up with, er,
BMW) and
Cut Copy going all Number One in the country, you'd be forgiven for neglecting the
Midnight Juggernauts. Equally
responsible for the "dance-rock crossover explosion of 2007" along with
say, Muscles and Corey Worthington, the boys haven't been idle since
the release of debut
Dystopia.
Since relocating to Europe the band have been busy touring North
America, recently playing the Coachella Festival before hitting the
East Coast as we speak/read. Meta.
They head to France and Japan
during May, and then hit the UK in June where they'll join Jay Z, The
Verve and Goldfrapp in appearing at the Glastonbury Festival. They then
spend a summer taking in festivals Primavera
Sound (Spain), Eurockeenes (France), Lovebox (England), Rockness
(Scotland), Electric Picnic (Ireland).
Here's a clip from Coachella last weekend. It's a long way from
161 that's for sure.
