Jack White set to holler at the Grammys

It’s been nine years but Jack White will be back at this year's Grammys, all grown up and all on his own.

His rather excellent solo debut, Blunderbuss, is nominated for Album of the Year and Best Rock Album, and he’s up for Rock Song of the Year with “Freedom at 21”.

The latter is probably the wisest prediction for what he’ll play when he’s up on stage at the 2013 award ceremony – for the first time since 2004, when he and Meg belted out “Seven Nation Army”, back in the days when we still thought she was his sister.

Wow. Now we feel really old.

Others set to perform on the night include fellow dirty, bluesy Midwesterners the Black Keys, Mumford & Sons (shudder), and Fun. (that full-stop never ceases to be annoying) as well as Elton John and Ed Sheeran, who are performing a duet. Cute.

Reminisce below, and get gee'd for the February 10th ceremony.
