The Meredith Music Festival has sold out, with organisers saying that demand this year was strong "if not stronger, than ever." After pre-sale ballot tickets were snapped up last week, physical tickets sold out the morning of going on sale last Thursday September 1st. Online sales the following morning took 30 minutes to sell out. Swift.

Organisers follow up the declaration with the confirmation of dates for next year's sister festival, Golden Plains. GP number six will go down on March 10 - 12, 2012. More details at goldenplains.com.au
