Gotye makes 'Glee'

Global superstar (can we say that yet?) Gotye adds another pop-cultural artifact to his Wikipedia entry with the forthcoming inclusion of 'Somebody That I Used To Know' on an episode of US show Glee. Or as it's introduced by Darren Criss (Blaine Anderson) in this behind the scenes clip of the upcoming show, "Everybody's favourite song."



As reported earlier, Gotye will be the musical guest on the April 14th edition of Saturday Night Live. After which, the Victorian government is expected to declare the converted shed in Gippsland where Wally De Backer recorded Making Mirrors, a national heritage site.

Elsewhere, those Walk Off The Earth gimmicksters went on Ellen the other week to perform their "viral" five-person-one-guitar cover of the song. And after admitting that the audio for their original cover was actually pre-recorded, their actual live effort endured predictably shaky results:
