Azealia Banks announces Sydney and Melbourne Future Music Festival sideshows
Crystal mermaid queen, purveyor of twitter rants and 1991-born (don’t gasp) “hard-balling Harlem pop provocateur” Azealia Banks has announced that aside from her imminent Future Music Festival performances, she will grace her devout Aussie following with stand-alone sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne this March.
Since her meteoric 212 clip, the turquoise weave wearer has enjoyed a steady rise to mainstream success – fronting Dazed and Confused magazine (blowing a condom, no less) while Alexander Wang elected her as his brand’s ambassador.
The femcee's 1991 EP dropped last year with great success, and a 19-track mix-tape entitled Fantesea followed in August. Soon, we will be bestowed with Banks’ Broke With Expensive Taste full-length debut, too. Prepare yourself for some potty-mouthed, swaggerific fashion-music fun.
Until then, book tickets for the sideshow via the links below.
