As
Stereogum points out, Axl Rose and a bunch of other people calling themselves Guns N' Roses played the Rock in Rio Festival at the end of last weekend, and suffice to say, Axl don't sound (or look) so hot no more.
Perhaps the best thing to come out of this current Frankenstein-like configuration of session musos and guitar noodlers that make up Guns N' Roses in 2011 is that at some point, one of them is going to write a great, great book.
How big is Rock in Rio? This year it went for SEVEN days, and was headlined by Rihanna, Metallica, Elton John, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System of a Down, Coldplay, Stevie Wonder and Guns n' Roses. Shit.
