The Happy Mondays Melbourne rooftop festival has thrown up a plethora of high grade music over the last few months.
Most recently we were witness to the double-header of US folk trio
Mountain Man, who took to a slightly windy rooftop gathered around a single microphone to perform their gorgeous harmonies, and
the Middle East, who were in town to showcase a swag of new songs that didn't get an airing at their the National support a few days earlier. The week following saw current US pop darlings
Beach House perform a far more animated set than their showing in the same city in 2008.
We were on hand to document the occasions.
The final Happy Mondays, featuring ex-Go Between Robert Forster, as well as the Twerps, happens tonight. Tickets are
available here.
