Organisers of our favourite summer dates, the Laneway Festival, has announced its dates and locations for the 2011 event.
The block party kicks off on in Australia on February 4 in Brisbane, before coming to rest in Perth on the 12th of February. The event will return to the two venues that made their debut last year - the Footscray Community Arts Centre in Melbourne and the Sydney College of the Arts in Sydney. We were at both in 2010. Organisers have also started a blog on the
official Laneway site. The first
post of which they wax on about LA and this years influx of surf/chillwave type bands. A hint perhaps? The 2011 Laneway line-up will be announced Tuesday October 12th.
