Organisers of Splendour in the Grass 2010 have released a promo video with a teensy view of the new site.
"New" meaning anyone who hasn't gone to the Woodford folk festival before. Being that that festival is held on the same grounds as the newly minted Splendour location. In any case, if this video is anything to go by, the place looks gorgeous. All dewy fronds, misty mountains and a litter of urban hippies putting up a tent in a vast, lush field. Then you think, "wait a minute, isn't there going to be 30,000 people there? This promo video is very far from realistic and I won't be fooled by such nonsense". But urban hippies setting up a tent at a festival is like walking through a crowded bar holding three drinks. Everyone gets out of the way. It's unspoken.

As mentioned previously, the lineup for Splendour features The Pixies, The Strokes, LCD Soundsystem and a veritable
giant exploding volcano's worth of other bands.*
