Organisers of this year's Splendour in the Grass have dropped the second and final lineup announcement for the festival. It's pretty good.
Astute observers may have noticed that the legendary UK dance band
Happy Mondays leaked their lineup slot a few days ago on MySpace accidentally, while brooding epic rockers
Doves had hinted in recent interviews of being in Australia around the same time. These two titans from Manchester, along with Glaswegian band
Danananaykyrod, are the only international acts to be added to the lineup.
Elsewhere we're keen to see
Architecture in Helsinki in front of a big crowd again, the ever reliable
You Am I on stage, and how
Dappled Cities will fare with their new LP in a live setting. DJ sets from
Cut Copy,
Canyons and
Yacht Club are a tasty sideline also.
