Richard Branson's two day V Festival hit two spots in the UK over the weekend. Despite a lineup featuring festival veterans The Killers, MGMT, Lily Allen and an Amy Winehouse assisted The Specials, the event may well be remembered for who didn't show up. Oasis.

As the Guardian explained:

Despite having played the Stafford leg of the festival the previous night, Liam Gallagher was reportedly laid low with a throat infection, but their last-minute cancellation brought widespread speculation that there is trouble brewing between the brothers. Boos ricocheted around the festival and hastily produced T-shirts claiming "Oasis are cunts" were snapped up. Keane – headlining on the 4Music stage – added Oasis' Cast No Shadow to their set, but neither they nor replacement headliners Snow Patrol made up for the loss of Manchester's warring sons.

So no pics of Oasis. But plenty of the Killers, The Specials, Lady GaGa, Lily Allen, Calvin Harris and more.
