Odd Future crooner Frank Ocean is no longer participating in the Future Music Festival, according to a report on
InTheMix.
The dance site has a statement from organisers explaining the loss.
“Future Entertainment are sad to announce that due to the delay of his debut album, Frank Ocean will no longer feature on the Future Music Festival bill this March," says the memo. "Information received from his management advises that his commitment to the album, and creation of the right live show is paramount and he sends his deepest apologies that these plans have taken longer than anticipated. We are assured that new dates will be forthcoming and Future look forward to announcing these when the information is available to us. Future Music Festival begins its epic journey throughout the country next week.”
Interesting to see if Ocean turns up at the Odd Future dates scheduled in the US at the same time as Future Festival's second week of shows. Interesting indeed.
Future kicks off in Brisbane next Saturday 3rd March. Line-up and event details
