It seems that New Kids on the Block have confused enough people into buying their woeful reunion single, "Summertime," that the thing has actually charted on the US Billboard Hot 100 list. It's the highest debut by any act this week. Awful. Campaigns must be launched to see that the same thing does not happen here. Kevin Rudd, defender of innocent children from meddling artists, where are you on this?
The Whitest Men Alive, looking about as cool as a Target menswear catalogue, have pumped up their sound with some totally like big beats and shiz. It almost sounds like street music, urban, some of that argh and bee that you hear the youth clothing dispensaries blasting when you're on your way to the food court.
Except it's totally blunt, bland, barren. Devoid, dead, dastardly. Horrible, horrendous, hideous. Etc. Etc. Etc.
At your own risk:
Summer at the Holiday Inn never sounded saucier.
