Dave Grohl, John Paul Jones, Josh Homme - and the bald fat guy who's been playing second guitar but no-one mentions - have finally stop playing secret shows long enough to announce some album release details.
The self-titled album now has a release date of November 13. (Which means that it should leak in a bout a week). Rabid fans will have course have heard most of the supergroup's album live via YouTube sleuthing. The band have played dozens of shows throughout festivals in Europe, as well as a clutch of secret shows in the US and in London, most notably their opening spot for mates Arctic Monkeys.
So if you're the kind of person that gets excited about music by reading a whole bunch of song titles written one after the other then my lord, you're about to witness a full set!! Secret show alert!!!:

TIMELY UPDATE:
Them Crooked Vultures - 'New Fang'
Also, did you know that the band met for the first time at a Medieval Jousting themed restaurant? No? Dave Grohl explains in
this YouTube interview that after bumping into John Paul Jones in London and mentioning the idea of a band between Jones, Grohl and Homme, he invited the Led Zeppelin legend to his birthday party:
"We all met at my fortieth birthday party which I had at a Medieval Times restaurant (laughs). I had 250 of my friends. I rented out the bar and invited all my friends to this Medieval Times restaurant. And I sat John Paul Jones right next to Josh so they would get to know each other. And there's like jousting and lasers and smoke machines and shit. Everyone's eating with their hands, we had these paper crowns on. I wound up in the Men's room smoking pot at closing time on my fortieth biirthday - I was really disappointed.
But then we sat down a couple of days later at Josh's studio and we just kinda plugged in we didn't have any songs, we just started jamming. The first jam was maybe about half an hour long. But I knew in the first 2 or 3 minutes. I was like 'Holy shit! This is the best fuckn' band I've ever been in'.
A legion of 'Crack Snifin' etc' worn tee shirt owners just died a little inside.
The band have of course announced a bunch of shows for the end of January. Even though they're not playing it supposedly, the dates do coincide fairly neatly with the Big Day Out. And since all their festival appearances in Europe were 'secret' shows....hmmm.
