No doubt thanks purely to the
incredible quality of
coverage that we've given to this bright young new band you might have heard about called
The Presets, who are just finding their feet in the rough and tumble big ol' world of the music biz, the bands second album has debuted at number one in Australia. Which, now that the record industry is waning, isn't the huge feat that it once was. Except that in just one week the record has gone GOLD. Meaning that they've shipped over 35,000 copies! Either there's a bulging warehouse on Sydney's North Shore or the band is extremely popular. Hmm. That would explain the reason why they've actually printed tour posters with all but two of the dates crossed out. As if to say "If you can see this poster right now you're on the street and therefore not near a ticketing outlet meaning there's no fucking chance you'll get to see us. Better buy the record." Seems to have worked.
They also have a video for new single 'This Boys in Love' which features guys wrestling in milk, ash and stars. Just watch:
