Pitchforkmedia approved Perth kids Snowman have announced via Myspace that their second album is complete. Described as "mechanical" and "tribal", the as-yet-untitled album was recorded throughout January this year with WAMi Award-winning producer Dave Parkin. Parkin has worked previously with the band, as well as the likes of Jebediah, The Panda Band, and Red Jezebel. One of the new songs from the album, 'Sleepwalking', a slow burning 'doomy' epic, is up on the bands page in demo form now. Recorded in their kitchen no less.

The bad news is that drummer Ross Diblasio has broken his left elbow and dislocated his left shoulder after being involved in a motorbike accident. As a result the band have cancelled several shows. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.
