As
reported Weezer have a new album on the way. Seemingly soon to be known as "The Red Album" due to its enthusiastic use of the last primary colour available to the band. (The official
press release even points out a handy link to Wikipedia should you want to learn more about primary colours, whilst simultaneously revealing the mean average IQ of the people they expect read such things).
This primary colours album art (and not to be confused with
Eddy Current's) has now been revealed. I think. It's kind of hard to believe actually. Breathtaking, subtle and explosive all at once. How do they do it? If the band members are anything to go by it seems that one's been listening to Interpol, one been crunching Excel spreadsheets, one's moonlighting in Blink 182 and the last has lost his mind in Nashville. See if you can pick which one.
The album is due out June 24th.
