Just a few weeks ago Sydney outfit Kid Confucious were bunkered down in Electric Avenue studios in Sydney. Now they're already talking first single news. Take that

The eight-piece band are working on their third as yet untitled release, the follow up to last year's sophomore record
Stripes. First single 'Good Luck' is already on its way to the public digital realm on July 26th and is the first taste of what the band heralds as a radical shift in musical direction. Being that from a "soul, funk, hip-hop" collective to a good 'ol rock band. Those festival appearances have rubbed off.
Says band member Andrew Guirguis "It’s important
that the first single completely embodies that difference. This song should
really grab people, shake them around and smack them in the face. There’s
no time to ease people into what we’ve become!” And “The only reference I can come up with is Kings of
Leon meets Otis Redding." Judge:
