Well, it's time for part four of my Skyrim blog. It's been... exhausting, although I feel I should point out that I'm now onto my second playthrough. My mage did the whole main quest, all guild content and a metric crapload of side content, but my new guy is a thief called Dust. AND HERE HE IS.

He's amazingment and I love him. But there's also loads of other Skyrim news floating around at the moment! Starting with this:

An EXCELLENT review of Skyrim over at the New York Times. It's always wonderful reading articulate, well-composed reviews of games in massive publications I respect.

Oh, and I also came across this incredible time-lapse is incredible! This week, I came across this time-lapse video (which you HAVE to watch fullscreen in 1080, if you can) showing off some of the wonderment Skyrim has to offer.

I finally made my way over to the source of Skyrim: I nabbed a look at this Skyrim fanart gallery over at the Bethesda blog. Why didn't they include my Skyrim fanart from Lessons for Children 54?

Oh, right. The whole 'not real drawing' thing, coupled with the 'I didn't submit it' thing.

And remember the whole 'arrow in the knee' things? Arrow in the Knee. Arrow in the knee. I think this meme may have peaked.

Speed painting is better when the artist lets you embed the video of said speed painting, but let's hold back judgement and instead just enjoy the beauty.

AND HERE IT IS.

Also, educational graph from Christwire is educational! (Thanks, Tara.) Given that we're neck-deep in the festive season, my reasoning faculties aren't really running as well as they ought to be. Which is why I thought this satirical graph was legitimately what some whackjob Christian website thought Skyrim was all about. They might still think that, mind you, but in this case, it's comedy.

Now as I mentioned, I'm playing as an archer right now. Headshots in Skyrim can be a work of art, provided you do them well. This guy has released a series of crazy awesome headshot videos on his youtube channel, and to say they make my archer feel inadequate is like saying they make my archer feel inadequate. Huh. Sort of petered out there, didn't I?

Cabbalanche! WHAT BETTER WAY TO WRAP UP MY FOUR PART SKYRIM BLOG THAN WITH AN AVALANCHE OF CABBAGES.

Well, I guess that's it for Skyrim. OR IS IT? Because if you haven't picked up a copy of what pretty much everyone is naming game of the year, you're missing out. Although I hear The Old Republic is pretty disco.
