You beauty. Virtual Console on Wii now hosts more than 200 classic games.
Two of the latest additions, Wonder Boy and Fantasy Zone, herald the arrival of the SEGA Master System to Virtual Console for the first time.
In case you're not familiar with it, Virtual Console is basically a back catalogue of video games that you access by connecting your Wii to the internet.*
Classic games from the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo®64, SEGA Mega Drive, Turbografx, NEOGEO and now SEGA Master System make up the catalogue on Virtual Console.
To whet you appetite, here are the top 10 classic games downloaded by Australian Virtual Console users:
1 Mario Kart 64
2 Super Mario Bros.
3 Super Mario 64
4 Super Mario World
5 Super Mario Bros. 3
6 Donkey Kong Country
7 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
8 Sonic The Hedgehog
9 Paper Mario
10 Lylat Wars
(Keep in mind that the Classic Controller may be needed to play some Virtual Console games).
Nintendo updates the Virtual Console games every Friday at 10am Eastern
Standard Time, so if the game you've been hanging for isn’t there yet,
