About two hours ago, the internet's most anticipated invites of 2011 hit the inboxes of people WAY more important than you and I.

The invite confirms that a new iPhone will be announced next week on the 4th of October. With the tag line 'Let's speak iPhone', current thinking on Twitter is that it eludes to voice control being a core part of the phone.

My guess (I'm always SO wrong about these things) is that iPhone 5 will have people using it like it's a tricorder from Star Trek. The best implementation of it so far coming from Heytell.
