The new "slim" PlayStation 3 is released on Thursday, and is certain to be popular thanks to the $200 price cut and the space-saving design.
But some gamers continue to grumble that the PS3 is not backward compatible with PS2 games. What isn't widely known is that the PS3 does play original PlayStation (PSone) games just fine.
So for those who have a PlayStation 3 or are tempted to splash out for a new slim model, today Gamesmaster has chosen 100 classic PSone games guaranteed to entertain.
Look out for these gems next time you are scouring eBay, your local op shop or the bargain bins of your nearest game store. And as always, feel free to chastise if Gamesmaster has left out one of your yesteryear favourites...
