The Age has just reported that an earthquake has been felt in Melbourne, just two weeks after a 4.6 quake shook suburbs around Melbourne on March 7.

We definitely felt something here at TheVine headquarters in St Kilda at about 4.35pm.

TheVine's video editor Marc Goldenfein is quoted as saying "we're on a fast track to disaster here". But he is totally unqualified to comment, so take that with a grain of salt.

More information as it comes to hand.

"Narre Warren resident Ginnie Giles said her entire house shook about 4.30pm.
It was the same as the other night when it happened,'' she said.
'It was for maybe three or four seconds but it felt longer than that.
'Our cat was lying down and he looked around as if to say 'what was that?' ''
