These days when you think of photographic trickery it's usually associated with post production manipulation and general Photoshoppery, but for photography purists this kind of digital interference is a little on the lame side.

Atlanta-based photographer Tierny Gearon is a little old-school when it comes to her magic and that's what makes her work all the more impressive. In the series Explosure she exposes here film to two completely different scenarios creating a single unanticipated image of an entirely new meaning. Pretty clever really.
