Take your imagination for a walk at Melbourne’s newest free public event celebrating dreams, ideas and aspirations. October 3 - 6, 2008.
Over four days, Birrarung Marr will play host to enormous illuminated artworks depicting the dreams and aspirations of Australians. The breathtaking installations have been created by some of the city’s leading artists in collaboration with Australia’s most creative and inspirational thinkers. Each installation will have its own soundtrack and accompanying story to give background to the inspiration behind each creative concept.
On Saturday 4 October, the riverfront will burst to life with a full schedule of creative workshops suitable for all ages including music, dance, art and sport. Throughout the day, the main stage will feature some of Australia’s favourite performing artists all leading up to a spectacular evening finale along the waterfront.
