Project Alice

Project Alice
Where:
Carriageworks, Sydney, NSW
When:
8pm Saturday 16 May
Gen Y’s Alice Beats Out One Wacky Tea Party. May 7 - 16.

project:ALICE is a theatrical event that rejects traditional forms and practice to carve out a new and engaging experience for an ultra-stimulated generation.

Using the love, energy, friendship, boredom and inventiveness of Generation Y, it rips apart Lewis Carroll’s timeless psychedelia and loudly and vividly reinvents it for the modern world.

Mashing hip-hop, contemporary spoken word, technological invention, wild beats and bleeding-edge fashion, project:ALICE represents a mash-up of 21st Century culture unlike anything you’ve seen live before.

So come take a global trip through a young girl's mind with project:ALICE.

It’s curiouser and even more...like...mad.

7th-9th; 13th-16th May 2009. 8pm. $20.
