What happens when the Blog Page jumps to the Main Stage?

We’re about to find out. Like most emerging comedians, Simon Keck has a Clark Kent day job. Until he performs his debut one-man show Dead Under Florescent Lights at the 2010 Comedy Festival, at which point, he’ll almost certainly be fired.

For those of you who are happy, Simon works in what is called an “Office”. Described by fans as a god of dry wit, he skewers the many flaws and inane moments of office life with shameless precision, showing what happens when we make the mistake of becoming spectators in our own lives.

DUFL is based on the popular blog of the same name. What started out as a simple outlet for the frustrations of a humble ‘desk jockey’ grew into a series of stories attracting thousands of fellow hive-workers each day. It’s full of tales both warm and horrifying, much like stepping in dog excrement barefoot.
