Melbourne-based Beci Orpin is the artist and designer behind the cult fashion label "Princess Tina". Her works are full of folk narratives and the nostalgia of children's storybooks.
She is infamous for her iconic Sad Tooth image – a crying anthropomorphic tooth which features on t-shirts, jewellery and prints.
Her forthcoming exhibition will be her most expansive collection to be shown in her hometown and promises to be full of dream-like design that brings sharp silhouettes, folk-art inspirations and animal symbolism together in her very own inimitable style.
Watch out for the cute with the dash of darkness. Fairytales that linger. And pets that might bite.
