If you’re in Brisbane, you’re in luck. Over the next two Friday nights (April 4 and 11) you can put on your night goggles and head to the Gallery of Modern Art and take part in the Andy Warhol Up Late event.

Not only will you get to soak up some of the artistic genius that is Mr Warhol, but you can shuffle around on the floor to live music. First cab off the rank on April 4 is Portland-based electronic group Glass Candy and DJ Mark Simonetti.

There will also be '15 Minutes of Fame' talks on aspects of Warhol’s work and films from 5pm until 9.30pm (exhibition closes at 9.15pm).

Tickets are $20 (includes exhibition entry) and food and drinks are available from the River Cafe. But you need to head here and book ASAP, as there’s a limited capacity.
