In the spirit of illustration month, Brisbane blogger and all round cutie-pie Sara of Harper & Harley got her print on for us last week in some current season Karla Spetic. As a self confessed Spetic obsessed blogger, Sara jumped at the chance to play dress ups in current season ‘The Dreamer’ collection and pose sweetly in front of a brick house.
These favourite three looks are ideal for this time of season. From right now up until summer if you have a garden wedding or tea party on your calendar, may I suggest one of these looks? Depending on where you live you might also want to bring your favourite coat or cardi.
Teamed with a floppy bohemian hat, black ankle boots and lace frilled socks, the collection’s little black dress, as we found, makes for the perfect ‘twirl me round the dance floor’ number. The grey outfit, despite looking like a top and skirt, is indeed a clever little dress in disguise. And while print on print can often be a difficult formula to master, the Caitlin Shearer illustrated blazer and skirt are the perfect match and need not be worn with anything else.
