Have you seen Love? My new favourite magazine. Launched by Conde Nast, this glossy new ship of theirs is steered by stylemaker/editor-in-chief, Katie Grand ex editor of Pop. A bi-annual fashion bible, issue one entitled “Icons Of Our Generation” (for those of you whom have not had a peek) displays images of Courtney Love (naturally) by Hedi Slimane, and Beth Ditto by Mert and Marcus, among others.
The word is “LOVE looks set to be Grand’s crowning triumph” outshining her numerous other achievements at Dazed & Confused, Another Magazine and Pop, as well as her work kitting out the rakes on the runway at Prada, Miu Miu and Marc Jacobs as a stylist.
Given she lives and breathes fashion – she’s said to archive every magazine and item of clothing she’s ever bought, including her 1,500 pairs of shoes; lest we forget her freakishly famous and fashion-forward posse - it’s not hard to believe LOVE makes for one helluva read.
