It's nearly here - celebrate wool in all its glory with an exhibition showing modern, innovative and avant-garde use of wool by some of the best Aussie fashion and interior designers.
Australian fashion designers that have been commissioned to submit custom-designed, one-off pieces to the exhibition included Josh Goot, Ellery, Tina Kalivas, Lisa Gorman, Camilla & Marc along with stunning archival wool items from some of Australia’s most established and globally recognised brands such as Collette Dinnigan, Akira Isogawa, Willow, Romance Was Born and Jenny Kee. They will be joined by three of Australia’s most talked about interiors designers, Sarah King, Emma Elizabeth and Henry Wilson.
Their works will be seen side-by-side with esteemed international contemporaries, including the likes of Galliano, Lanvin, Burberry, Paul Smith, Christian Lacroix, Rick Owens and Giles Deacon amongst others. The exhibition will also feature an exclusive look at the wool archives from fashion designers including Theirry Mugler and Sonia Rykiel.
