Has this happened to you? You notice someone wearing a really amazing piece of vintage designer something or other. You say "That's amazing! Where's you get that?" And they say something annoying like "Oh, last year when I was in Paris I found this darling flea market" or "In an op shop just off Portobello Road, it was just a fiver." Happens to me all the time. Annoying wankers.

Now you can give those fashion fanatics something to drool over, and at an iddy biddy price, thanks to Adelaide-based Claire Incorruptible. It's an ebay store that specialises in proper designer pieces from ye olde days, such as the seventies.

Claire is now selling a 70s YSL blazer with logo buttons for $76, a pair of rainbow-dyed YSL heels for just $26 and an Oscar de la Renta blouse for $195.

The site is run by Belinda Humphris, a 32 year old styling genius and part-time stockbroker. Humphris scores all her vintage finds in the US and kindly brings them back here for our shopping pleasure. She is working to get an Adelaide Fashion Festival off the ground and may well open her own online store, but for now she says ebay works a treat. We're not complaining. Not one bit.
